The work of Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC) ecologists will make an appearance on national television, when the third episode of the high-end nature documentary Australia’s Wild Odyssey goes to air on ABC TV on the evening of Tuesday 7th February.
Produced by Emmy award-winning Sydney-based documentary company Wild Pacific Media, Australia’s Wild Odyssey is a ground-breaking natural history program that follows the flow of water across the continent. It tells the story of ecosystems and wildlife which are connected by their relationship with water.
The crew spent three weeks filming with the AWC team in the Kimberley, hosted by Regional Ecologist Dr Skye Cameron. They captured some incredible footage, including breathtaking aerial sequences at Artesian Range, where they also recorded wildlife surveys that were underway.
Australia’s Wild Odyssey screens on ABC TV at 8.30pm on Tuesday 7th February and is also available to stream on iview.
