Feral cat and fox control at Bowra

Feral cat and fox control at Bowra

Foxes and cats are present at Bowra. Feral predators, especially foxes, are controlled by shooting, baiting and trapping.  AWC works with neighbours to co-ordinate regional baiting and control measures.  The population of cats and foxes is monitored using sandplots and camera traps.

The population of foxes has been significantly reduced over the last two years (as measured by sandplot activity).
