Kristy Hinze and Women's Weekly help showcase AWC's work
October 2010: In her role as Patron and Ambassador for AWC, Kristy Hinze recently visited Pungalina Wildlife Sanctuary to see first-hand some of the challenges in managing and protecting such a large, remote property.
The opportunity to spend some time with our field ecologists was valuable for Kristy, who is studying environmental science in the USA.

Kristy had the rare honour of releasing a Carpentarian Pseudantechinus after one trapping session – this was only the 21st individual of the species that has ever been captured.
